About DevQuery 3.0...

Function

Overview
DevQuery 3.0 was created to enable developers to access ChatGPT in an environment where they wouldn't want to sign into the official website. 3.0 allows for a query to be sent without logging in through DevQuery's website.

Details
DevQuery 3.0 worked by taking a query from the user, along with a GPT version for the server to use. This is then sent to DevQuery servers, which then forwards the request through ChatGPT's API. The response from GPT is then sent back to the client and displayed to the user.

Drawbacks
Due to 3.0 utilising the GPT API, it comes at a small charge to us at DevQuery. However, we do not charge our clients for our shortcut service.

Evolution

Creation
DevQuery 3.0 was first made around the 21st May 2024 - this can be confirmed by a log @ 00:24. The system was developed further that day, including testing @ 11:08 and 13:49 (confirmed by files and logs, however other testing may have occurred at surrounding times).

Further Development
Development continued on the 21st May 2024, and it can be confirmed that later that day, 3.0 was fully functional as a beta system @ 19:39, with the first accurately-logged query and response.

Future
As far as further development goes, we are happy with the current position of DevQuery 3.0. We may implement the occasional bug fix or small update, however the project is no longer a focus and is mostly discontinued. The system will still run, however, despite it no longer getting updates.
